What is Cystitis?
Urinary tract infections are infections of the kidney, bladder, and urethra. They are generally triggered by bacteria and in some people, UTIs tend to continually reoccur.
What does Conventional Medicine offer?
Most people are usually offered a course of anti-biotics for cystitis to treat the bacterial infection. Often, this can lead to a destruction of good bacteria in the gut, lowering the immune system and allowing bad yeasts and bacteria such as Candida to flourish. Bacteria can also quickly become resistant to the anti-biotics used, which in turn means that cystitis can often re-occur, forcing sufferers into a cycle of taking more and more anti-biotics, further destroying the immune system. Some specialists also recommend stretching of the urethral tube, which can offer some relief but in the long run can allow wider access for bacteria to congregate and cause infection.
It is our belief after treating clients successfully with Cystitis that the main cause of this recurring ailment can be down an over growth of Candida. There are usually other symptoms that accompany Cystitis which help in identifying whether or not this is the root cause of your problem.
Follow the guidelines recommended below. If after 12 weeks you notice no improvement go to Focus on Candida. If you suffer from at least 2 or 3 of the symptoms listed in that questionnaire as well as your Cystitis, it is highly likely you suffer from Candidiasis.
If this is the case then go to Personal Health Consultation. If you live locally we will ask you to come in. If you live further away we will organise a telephone consultation, or you can go to Personal Health Consultation. and fill out the questionnaire. On receiving your completed questionnaire we will call you and advise you personally on how to best to proceed with Our tried and tested Candida Program.
Dietary changes that may be helpful: Sugar, alcohol and fats impair the ability of white blood cells to destroy bacteria and suppress the immune system, so we recommend reducing your intake of these products during infection.
Whilst taking the below remedies, you should ensure that the Urethral area is kept clean by washing with water and soap after every toilet trip and then rinsing with a litre of tepid, luke warm water.
In the meantime you should start taking the remedies below.
