What is Thrush?

The Medicine Shop & Clinic have treated thousands of men and women with Thrush. It is our belief after treating thousands of patients successfully with Thrush that the main cause of this ailment is down to an overgrowth of the parasitic fungus Candida Albicans. Although thrush can appear in the vagina, mouth or gastro intestinal tract, there are usually other symptoms that accompany Thrush which help in identifying whether or not this is the root cause of your problem.

What does Conventional Medicine offer?
The best known over the counter treatment for thrush is Canestan cream and pessaries. However, whilst getting rid of your thrush in the short term, in the long term it will not rid you of the overgrowth of Candida that is causing your thrush and in fact will cause it to come back. Nystatin is another anti fungal that is often prescribed, however this is a derivative of Fungi and will aggravate symptoms in the long run.

Dietary Guidelines

Cut our from your diet yeast, sugar, garlic and mushrooms. These all feed, nourish and antagonise the Candida Albicans yeast that is causing your thrush.
